Chris Zadeh is the founder of Ohpen, the first cloud-based core banking company in the world. He has been at the forefront of digital banking solutions for decades, and had a vision to disrupt the way banks worked. He sought out a team of underdogs who shared his passion, to accomplish what many others thought was impossible-creating the first cloud-based core banking company in the world. Chris and his team worked hard to complete his vision and did so very successfully, his innovation recognized by Forbes, TechCrunch, and Wired to name a few. Today, Chris invests in startups, walks his dogs Yucca and Myza and advises companies on strategy, corporate finance and M&A. He is the founder of Whangai.nl.

Matthijs Aler

Matthijs Aler is the CEO of Ohpen, dedicated to the mission of developing the best core banking engine in the world. He has helped grow Ohpen from a start-up to one of the most successful cloud banking platforms globally, with his expertise in finance, product development and data protection. Prior to Ohpen, Matthijs was part of the BinckBank adventure responsible for the rise of French online banking, having been working in online investment management since 2001. In his free time, Matthijs spends time with his wife and children, walking and cycling on the beautiful Dutch coast.
